That's my header in the pic. I do scrape sometimes when I drive or I just hit pot holes and keep driving. The kid plate is there for a reason and if I didn't have it say good bye $$$ header. 20V header needs one too, and Budget header, Seen them get bashed in pretty good. I have been driving with the header for a while now and took it off a few months ago to give it a check up and all is good. Only thing getting mangled is the front part of my skid plate but the header is fine.

Although I dont agree on this, if you are correct, your header should make even more power over the SSAC and you will get a whole lot of fans for your header because the SSAC is what 90% of us are running.

just a thought though. maybe it needs a different thread. who knows. i dont know too much about exhaust flow and header tuning and all that....

but, if we are saying that you need this amount of length and such for proper gains and things, i notice that all of our exhaust manifolds/headers look like this shape "[". is there any way we could bend that [ shape more into a ( to achieve length, but give up 1-2'' of fan space to keep the length there, and just run slim fans and possibly get a radiator support made that allows the radiator to sit 2-3'' further forward/flush within the rad support in the bay? i know it would make things like opening the rad cap and things a hassle, but you could make a hole for it yes?

just a thought.

Although i have never personally used any of your products yet, Thank you Mazworx for supporting our community and turning out quality, good priced, well engineered peices. To be a reputable vendor here means you have to deal with a lot of bullshit from people who dont get it. Sorry to go off subject just wanted to say thanks for kicking ass.

what were the "other" headers being used when you drove it without the mazworx header?

basically, what are you comparing the mazworx to?

would the one with the skid plate not be forcing the manifold up when it takes a hit....
