Stuck tranny
Gettin a car ready for a swap, thanks to lessons learned from my project, but for some reason the tranny will not come loose from the rear engine mount. It's a B14 200sx with the sr20 in it. The problem we're having is that when trying to take the tranny off the rear mount, somethin from the mount is holding on. Everything is off, no bolts, nothing. Looks like it's welded but there's no evidence to that either. Any help or ideas or info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I bet you missed a bolt back there by the mount.Happenned to me before.
Seriously,I had to look like 5 times beore I found it.
There are some sneaky ones that you need an extention to pass through the mount to get to,if you know what I mean.
Everytime after that I know where to look if it does not slide off.

Yup, there is one right deep inside the mount, 5 total not including the long bolt thru the rubber part of the mount.

yea i dropped my tranny in my 200sx the other day. Those bolts are a bitch to get to back there. Your friend will be a long extension and a swivel.

im such a pro at those bolts, took ALOT of practice.. i've learned its just easier to do them while the engine/tranny is out of the car lol
