Obviously he would be using it to tune + switch cams.
If still havent bought anything, then yes better save for the Nistune (not that is that cheap anyway, including board, install, cable and software); if already got the emanage, well use it, it will work.
What ecu are you using, if it has the parameters such as required rpm, no speed cut, and you have the greddy then fine you can use the greddy to switch to hi-cam, if you dont then just invest in the nistune and rpm switch

if so then the car has been wired to activate lift @ the stock points? then yes the greddy blue is sufficient to tune and reset the hi- cam activation point.

Emanage Blue is a waste of time on a SR20ve ecu. If you have a Sr20de ecu, get it chipped (if you dont already have one) and use one of these to activate cams:
I have been there, done that with Greddy Emanage Blue and Stock VE ecu.
It seems the 20ve ecu learns the emanage settings after a time.
I remember my car running very rich to the point where it stalls and I didnt trouble the tune or did any mods. Had to re-tune the car. Also lost 3 distributors using the Greddy Blue
Peace
