Thread: Electrical issue

So here's the deal, im getting pretty frustrated now. When i turn the key in the ignition to put it on the accessory setting, the fuel pump primes, everything turns on but the whole dash and the radio, nothing works. no idiot lights come on for that period where everything is priming and checking, nothing. then i start the car and still nothing! car runs great but its really annoying. Then i rev the engine up a little and the lights come on. radio then works, dash works. including rpm's. before the rpm's werent even working. but i rev it up and then everything works, and will stay working until the car is shut off. the starts all over again.
I have checked every fuse, relay, and plug related. everything is good.
So NOW WHAT?!

did it work before you messed with it? if so triple check everything lol.. bet ya missed something.. or messed something up.. or maybe a broken wire or bad ground..

it did work before. and i did check everything. the only thing i messed with was the distributor. i checked all grounds, grinded them down and cleaned them up...

there's a fuseable link right off the battery that'll do that when it's blown, minus the coming back on part.. it's either the top one (30amp ignition) or the middle one (75 amp battery ) in that fuse box.

maybe it's blown but the ends are still close or somthing
