While this is all true and obvious, I'm curious what's ben trying to say. Your not going to do any damage to a t25 runing it on a ve

lol, yeah if anything the t25 will damage the ve. haha. At least hurt it performance wise and potentially cause heat problems and detonation. Personally if your gonna boost a VE, a T3 turbo is one of the best ways to go. Plenty of flow. Matches up to the VE's topend really well and will make the best numbers with reletively low boost levels. No issues with backpressure or any of that.

7 psi t25 is just as safe on a ve. The 2.0 cams are about the same size as the s4. Yes the ve head flows better and ofcourse your not gonna make ground breaking numbers but who expects that from a t25. They are out there, they work fine and outperform a de. Ofcourse it is silly wasting your time with a t25, a nice na set up ve will probably pull away lol.

very true. I had a video of me racing my buddies turbo nx, 9psi, t25 with my stock cam ve and we were dead even from 30-110mph then he finally started to pull away. With n1 cams it would have been lights out for the nx. But now the nx is on a t28 and 10psi so it wouldnt be close. It would take a built up all motor ve to pull away from that. With the T28 it would easily go low 12's on slicks with the weight reduction he has done and on 15-16psi.

so id be alot better off with slapping a t28 on there? will the 370s be enough or should i look into something bigger? again guys im not looking for ground breaking numbers, and we will be running it on stock wastegate boost.

im actually really thinking about buying the ve and putting it in my b13 and giving him my bluebird engine.. the b13 is running gt28rs, subbie 520s, z32 maf, 3in dp/exhaust, and a jwt ecu(tuned for all that and cams but not running cams)

^Get that 28R! You'll love it.

370's at 4 bar should be fine for a moderate boost level from the t28. Keep it at less than 14-15psi and no worries. 10 psi in my buddies nx from the t28 is more than enough for daily driving.

Determine your power goals and go from there... I really wouldn't bother with anything less then a 30r, but that's me.

well the power goals are mid 200's. we really dont want to have to buy anything else, if at all possible i want to just swap over all the turbo stuff from the t25 setup, but you guys are saying a t25 is a bad idea.
