Making Cold Air Box - HELP!
Hey guys,

Need some help to make a cold air box - short ram - for my N15.

I have acquired the aluminum sheet and rivet gun etc, but needs to make it so it can open (possible the top), but not anything that will rattle and make noise.

Any ideas?

Any pics?

Here is the engine bay. I plan to shift the battery a bit to get some more space:

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Peace

I'm using a fiberglass box for mine. It was custom made for a p10 but fits my n14 perfectly and the bonnet sound deadening sh*t closes down on top of it. I also didn't have to move the battery because it takes up the space that the factory airbox did.

maybe use dzus fasteners like these.. Moroso 71460 Moroso Quick Fasteners

Here is a link on how they are used. dzus fasteners on aluminum panels - LotusTalk - The Lotus Cars Community

Or you can make some type of screw on lid for the air box?

^I would like to use fiber glass as well so that my filter is still visible.

When I do mine I plan on using the hood as the "top" like UI8281 said.
