Thread: Different Style E-bay header

What kind of loss/gain would a header like this give to a bolts on VE?
Over a stock manifold?
Over a SSAC?

I doubt there will be any gains over the SSAC though.

Traditionally long[er] tube headers make their power at lower revs so you might predict this to make more power early on and less power later on than an SSAC. That's just speculation however. It would also depend on the inner diameters.

I had that header installed except it was a "ceramic" coated version. I now have an SSAC. The SSAC has a little less power down low but more up top just as BenFenner said. The primaries of the SSAC are larger and so is the outlet (2.5" compared to 2.25" on the header in this thread). The SSAC fits better too.

All ebay headers are same Brand Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh only different is one is 2.5 and other 2.25.

take a look again at the picture if you notice the secondaries are longer than the ssac and have th bend curve t fit below the sway bar. So obviously they are not the same.

I would say that maybe modifying that one may give some better numbers maybe just curious.

Thats why I posted it. Secondaries are waaaayyy different from the SSAC.

That's almost certainly a knock-off of the old Topspeed header. Good mid-range, compromised top end versus SSAC/HS Gen 5. I wish someone would knock off the AEBS header.
