Thread: A SR20VE 20V Valve Cover Question

Below we have to pics of SR20VE 20V motors. The first pic is of my motor from back in 2004.

The second pic is of a randon SR20VE 20V Primera.

As you can see there are 2 diffrent coil covers. You have the one with red letters and the other has silver letters.

I want to know if there is a diffrence between those two cars with the diffrent coild covers.

I have only seen the silver letters twice once for my motor and once on another motror on the net.

might just be paint, it looks like there is paint drips on top of the n.

The first one was mine there were no paint drips it was scratched. Again this is the second one I have seen like this.

youve seen more 20v's then most dre.

your average person on this forum isnt gonna know.

who else has had there hands on a 20v, no one that i personally know...

Well I was hoping someone has seen one like that. I am wondering if the white-sliver lettering cam off of the Autech Version.

I have had about 9 or 10 come my way.

1st one was with the white-sliver lettering

All the others were red lettering.

That is what I was thinking. If Dre doesn't know this, who the hell will?

did all motors came with intake manifolds? because the second pic looks like it has a drive by wire system.

Well you did not word that properly.

All SR20DE, DET, VE, 20V and VET come with intake mahifolds.

DET, DE, VE come with standard throttle bodys

All 20V and VET come drive by wire. So if it is going to be put on a B13-B13 you have to put on an old scholl TB.

lol yea i was asking if all your engines (20v) came with manifolds when u purchased them lol but i thought some probably came standard and others (newer models) drive by wire but u answered it lol

Do the VET's come with coil covers? I know they have a similar valve cover, but not painted.
