Your going to spend the same amount of money doing a DET setup maybe more.

SR20DET $1100
JWT ECU $550
JWT Pop Filter $130
Intercooler, piping and silicone hoses $350
BOV = $75
3 inch exhaust = $450
DP = $250
Solid engine mounts = $75
Aluminum flywheel = $350
Clutch = $350

Also you can still run get to run a 13.8-13.9 @ 98-100 MPH on slicks without N1 cams on the VE motor.

Car should run 13.4-13.6 @ 103 MPH on slicks.

I have all of the above except for N1 cams,N60, solid mounts, and the slicks.. So im guessing 14.2-14.5???

DE maf sucks, I need a N60 soon!!

Andreas: Why using expensive JWT ecu over cheaper Nistune ?

not everyone knows how to tune it themself(one of the reason why calum stop doing ecu.) If the tune is not perfect out of the box, people won't be happy and bitch and cry all day about it. JWT is the only thing out there that works right out the box.

I like JWT ECUs. They work great for the regular Joe.

Not everyone has the time to get a Nistune comp, download Nistune programs, dyno them and so forth.

The Nistune is a better ECU for the serious guy.

The Nistune comp and the price of the software to dowload the programs and so on can get up to the JWT ECU in price.

For people on budget Nistune "basic" is good way (as Calum ECU was before he retired). There are plenty of .bins to use.

And for people who really do not have the time, patience, or knowledge, a JWT ECU is the best.

Plug and Play wins over saving dollars dealing with hooking it up, downloading bins, finding bins, etc... aka dealing with headaches.

If you want something to really tune a car, get a Power FC or some other real standalone. Doing that cheap Nistune shit isn't going to cut it.
