vvl in a b14
what would it take for a 200sx to go 13 seconds in the quartermile with a ve motor? just trying to get an idea of what would need to be done and the car would run on street tires.

SR20VE motor = $1000
JWT ECU = $550
Maxima 95-99 MAF = $100
JWT Pop Filter
MSD RPM activated switch = $140
SSAC header= $150
3 inch exhaust = $450
Solid engie mounts = $75

looks like it takes A LOT more than i expected for a b14 to runs 13's and a deep wallet. going turbo seems way more appealing now but a vvl is a lot more reliable than turbo.

n1 cams with supporting mods. Seen it done in a b13, b14s are only a little bit heavier. Miko pretty much summed it up, but you can find that stuff used for cheap.
