Never had a problem with any JWT S3, S4, S5, C1, C2 and C3 cam shafts. I can honestly say I have installed over 60 sets of these cams shafts. In opinion, I personally belive the JWT SR series of cams are the best in the business.

Please tell me where you had a problem with this cam shaft.

Correct about Nissan and every car manufacutrer out there. That is why at the shop we use o.e. parts but they do not say nissan on the box. Local dealerships can't tell the difference, and tell me there is no way I got the same part for so cheap. Been doing this since I started at the shop 7 years ago and learned about other suppliers and buying parts, which to by and which to stay away from aftermarket.

Now, did I say they were rebadging cams. Where did you see that? I made a statement on VE cams not on JWT cams. Lets stop with they dont rebadge anything though. All companies do this.

Turbos are made by ( Garrett We all know this )
Air filters are made by ( S&B )
Flywheels ( Clutch Masters )
Clutches ( Clutch Master and Nissan )
Cams blanks are bought from (----------)
Cams are made by (----------)
JWT Rods ( Crower )

All these parts are made by other companies and are sold as JWT parts everybody knows this so stop being silly. JWT finds the best parts from diffreant companies and buys in bulk. Yes, it is called buy low sell high. I am a proud perponent of this as this is called business. I love JWT to death but we are not suposed to say anything if we are unhappy or displeased with the support this company has given our comuinty for the last 8 years. JWT has lead us on for 8 years about some VE cams or some 98-99 and 00-02 SR20 ECUS that we begged and pleaded for and they said would be made over and over and over and over again.

All I am saying is some company is making it for them. As far as working on QR cams, what work did you help them on. Did you just test a few of the cams and say you like them or did you actually help in designing cam specs with them because if testing a few cams that Mr Steppler sent you and just saying you liked them, then I helped in designing them to, if this is the same thing then well I worked hand in hand with making cams to ( Bullshit on my part )

I remember when Mike K said that we could only use JWT springs and retainers with JWT cams because the springs and retainers were harmaonically designed to work specially with JWT cams on the last forum, are we to take this type of stuff seriosly. I know I ran every combination of springs and retainers from other companies and they worked great with JWT cams.

Lastly

I AM THE BIGGEST JWT FAN BUT I DID NOT KNOW IT WAS COMPLETLY BLASPHEMOUS TO SPEAK YOUR MIND ON YOUR DISPLEASURE ABOUT GOINGS ON. I WILL REMEMBER TO SHUT MY TRAP.

Travis I would leave it at that. A persons character and and honesty generally should be held at its highest. In this business we can have minor disagreements with people but................ true character comes out in the end.

I will remember to shut my trap before the Gestapo get me.

I never said that it was blasphemous, and I never told you to "shut your trap". In fact, I told you that I respect you/your work, Andreas.. You've known me long enough to know that (or you should).

There's a difference between paying a company to produce custom parts for you, and taking parts that were already engineered and calling them your own. The only thing that JWT reuses is Garrett CHRA's.. and even then, they have their own housings cast for them. JWT flywheels are built by fidanza, but, again.. they are JWT designed. Cam blanks are purchased and ground to JWT's specs by another company. That's not rebadging.. that's having a product made to their specs, by another company who specializes in that sort of thing. Rebadging is taking another product/design, that you didn't design, and calling it your own. That's the one thing that I've always seen JWT pride themselves on. They don't do this sort of thing..

I wasn't knocking you Andreas.. So relax man.. There's no reason to get all upset. I just wanted to clear this up..

There's a difference between outsourcing mass production of a part to a company that specializes in said part, and taking a part that's already been designed/mass produced, and relabeling it as your own.

I'm not having a go at you, just saying that things happen that way. Some stuff are really designed by a manufacturer and outsourced and labelled as OE wich it should be, but there is a lot of stuff out there wich is claimed to be OE but in fact will be identical in every sense to an aftermarket item.
