Well the cams that JWT had in mind were not going to be for your liking anyway. Steppler was looking to make VE cams with C1 low lobes and CM6 high lobes if I remember correctly.
When I was talking to Steppler about making cams he had one cam in mind and that was it. I was begging him for 2 sets of cams.
20V Ls and N1 Hs
20V Ls and something bigger that peaked at 9000 RPMs
Why these 2 cams is because the 20V L and N1 Hs would have been the best damn all around cam. N1 cams have sold atleast 250 sets on this forum so this cam would have done the job for the average Joe. For the crazy guys with larger motors the second cam would have cut the cake.
If JWT were to make VE cams which they will not, they are going to try and make the masses happy and not the one individual.
So, if you can get some 20Ls and N1 high cams and set them straight up with something like Corys header you will have a 2L with great midrange and a peak power that pulls to 8500 just like Corys VE did at 2L.
I held onto the thought of JWT VE cams until 3 years ago and have not looked back because it aint happening. I only held on so long because of the quality of their products.
