[QUOTE=STRATTON;

i think n1 cams on a stock 2.0 and kelford v2's on high compression ve's and bigger cc motors.

if jwt wanted to make a set of cames they would. they have plenty of capital to front the r&d. why do we need to have a group buy to get some cams made.

if they dont wanna make them so be it.

stratton.[/QUOTE]

My engine has 12:1CR 87mm pistons, N1 cams, ported N1 manifold by DPR, Ported head by DPR with bigger valves and ASP 4-1 header

Don't blame JWT for the group buy, this is me who proposed it to them. I contacted them every 6 months about their VE cams and even if they said that the cams may become available it never happened. I tought that maybe if I proposed them a group buy something would happen. I agree with you that they could have make it. Kelford make cams that beat the N1 but I think that the power peak is at 9000+RPM on a 2.0 liters engine. This is not what I am looking for. I want cams that will have power peak at 8000-8200rpm and more power than the N1 in the midrange. Maybe JWT cams would not give what I want (if they become available) but I am willing to take a chance. Howerver from the comments that I have read it probably won't happen because very few peaples are interested.

Andreas.. You know that I respect you, but, I question your statement about JWT rebadging parts from other companies. If this is indeed going on, I would be shocked, and it would be the first that I've EVER heard of such a thing.

If this is the case, please let us know what's up. I've always been under the impression that JWT designs and produces all of their own cam/valvetrain components. I've worked with Clark on QR cam designs over the years, and these guys know what's going on. There's nothing that leads me to believe that they are relabeling cams from other companies. I'm not saying that you're incorrect, but, if you're going to make a bold statement like that, then, please "show us the money".

That being said.. I asked Clark about VE cams a few weeks ago, and he flat out said that he just hasn't had time to mess with it. I think that they should just drop it, and stop leading people on, if they're not going to produce a set of cams, but, that's their call. I do understand the frustration with this. However, Kelford makes some nice stuff, so, why wait for JWT in the first place.

The part in red is the most honest thing you ever said.

Now, did I say they were rebadging cams. Where did you see that? I made a statement on VE cams not on JWT cams. Lets stop with they dont rebadge anything though. All companies do this.

Turbos are made by ( Garrett We all know this )
Air filters are made by ( S&B )
Flywheels ( Clutch Masters )
Clutches ( Clutch Master and Nissan )
Cams blanks are bought from (----------)
Cams are made by (----------)
JWT Rods ( Crower )

All these parts are made by other companies and are sold as JWT parts everybody knows this so stop being silly. JWT finds the best parts from diffreant companies and buys in bulk. Yes, it is called buy low sell high. I am a proud perponent of this as this is called business. I love JWT to death but we are not suposed to say anything if we are unhappy or displeased with the support this company has given our comuinty for the last 8 years. JWT has lead us on for 8 years about some VE cams or some 98-99 and 00-02 SR20 ECUS that we begged and pleaded for and they said would be made over and over and over and over again.

All I am saying is some company is making it for them. As far as working on QR cams, what work did you help them on. Did you just test a few of the cams and say you like them or did you actually help in designing cam specs with them because if testing a few cams that Mr Steppler sent you and just saying you liked them, then I helped in designing them to, if this is the same thing then well I worked hand in hand with making cams to ( Bullshit on my part )

I remember when Mike K said that we could only use JWT springs and retainers with JWT cams because the springs and retainers were harmaonically designed to work specially with JWT cams on the last forum, are we to take this type of stuff seriosly. I know I ran every combination of springs and retainers from other companies and they worked great with JWT cams.

Lastly

I AM THE BIGGEST JWT FAN BUT I DID NOT KNOW IT WAS COMPLETLY BLASPHEMOUS TO SPEAK YOUR MIND ON YOUR DISPLEASURE ABOUT GOINGS ON. I WILL REMEMBER TO SHUT MY TRAP.

Travis I would leave it at that. A persons character and and honesty generally should be held at its highest. In this business we can have minor disagreements with people but................ true character comes out in the end.

I will remember to shut my trap before the Gestapo get me.

You know why this has me so hot because the amount of begging and pleading I made about these VE cams from JWT. The amount of, yeah we are making these things I got. The amount of flack I took from the community because I belived in the crap I was fed. The amount of hoops I jumped with JWT on these cams to try and have them made.

The shit I did and got introuble for just makes me shake my head.

Even Nissan rebadge other Companies stuff!! For example, Sumitomo cast and finish their SR blocks and about every component that you buy with a Nissan logo on it has been manufactured by someone else, albeit with Nissan's R&D and specifications.
JWT, Brian Crower, Kelford just to name a few dont even manufacture the springs they sell, they just outsource them to their specification.
