Try 4in 6out,
but it really doesnt hurt at all to just use trial and error until you find the setting that idles best by keeping out 6 and changing "in"

Ok, thanks for the info. Does my A/Fs ratios change along with the MAF change?

you mean if you need to retune?

they are supossed to stay as the ECU sends them, I mean if you just plug the maf and not change the value in the afc your AFRs will be wrong, when you change the maf value they are suposed to be as ir you were using your stock DE maf...

Yes ofcourse it changes af. Just think about what it is doing. The maf meters how much air is coming into the engine... why, so it knows how much fuel to inject to keep a steady mixture. So I would make sure you get the right setting before going to crazy. Try to get a wideband on the car.

And gtswrx has it right. You want to change the "in" vlaue and you want to keep the out value the same. The out is suppose to be for what maf your ecu is set up to read, 5.

thats why you change the settings in your afc, when I changed from my DE maf to the N62 and used the correct input-output in the afc, the AFRs ramained the same as I had them tuned...
But before of going to beat on the car, I checked the AFRs to make sure they were the same and not blow something up...

Yes. Exactly, all your doing is rescaling the voltage for a larger maf which will read less volts at the same amount of air. So if done correctly everything will remain consistant.... I'm just saying be sure your settings are right. Last I looked was atleast a yr ago but I didnt see the in setting for ve maf.. that's all
