The testing going on now is on a street 2.0, something that can be done on pump and bolt ons. From what I have researched, there "were" no solid figures on what the overall gains are on a 2.0.

i see, jaime, i could have sworn the motor you were building was a 92mm block with a 92mm crank.

your old street motor (16ve pistons) was sold or parted out.

this is a different 2 liter your testing it out on ? more details on the motor.

Everything is still a go on the 92x92. Just recieved confirmation on the head being shipped so all is looking good.

This 2.0 motor was put together for fun just for testing cams, IM and headers before the 2.4's were wrapped up.

Pretty much identical to the motor I sold months ago.

I need to get the cable to upload the videos on the camcorder bro.

We'll find out tonight how much of a difference these cams make versus N1 cars. I want to see what they do on the street/track besides just dyno numbers. Couple hours to go!

^A lot of people get stuck on top end around here. Most think under the curve means little to nothing. If you can't get out of the hole, the car is not complete in my opinion. Every race can't be from a roll. (This is on a open road in mexico of course.)

I agree, but also think that even starting from zero, you are not going to spend more than a split second below 5000rpm when launching, and having more power there below will only make it more difficult to launch and force you to feather the accel pedal even more. The remaining portion of the race is spent WOTting beyond 5000rpms, aka top end.

- I wasn't implying top end is not important/as important, but that mid range should not be ignored. My thought process is having both with a set of RT-615's.

BACK ON TOPIC: Thanks for the sound clip. SR20GTi-R
