From what I know they are bigger than N1's and N1's push the limits of stock S&R's so I would say the answer is yes! S&R's are a must.

I love the lopey sound, there is nothing like a big cammed 4cyl idling. When i used to have my s3's they had just a slight lope to them and i got comments all the time when pulling up to a light idling and guys would ask is that thing cammed.....Yep. haha

Id rather have the lopey idle than smooth. It definetly gives it that mean im gonna destroy you sound.

S4's > S3's when it comes to lope.

lol, i know thats what i was running on my last setup, haha, S4's, t3 turbo, and about 18" of downpipe dumping at the bottom of the bay is absolute heaven. hahaha, People would give me wierd looks all the time. Even at idle it wasnt super loud but you can hear that rumble.

I cant wait to hear what these C2 cams, T4 turbo and 16" long 3" downpipe dumping at the bottom of the bay is gonna sound like. hahaha

I had s3's back when that was the newest cam available from jwt. Dang i feel old. lol
