Pics of 20v headers
Despite everying looking at my gear and saying how big it is,

20v headers are all pimp to look at, but do they really do the biz?

The theory may be that it necks down to acclerate the gas's out of the exhaust port, but it surely is choking the top end flow. There is soot to about 30mm inside the pipe, then its clean as.

Im thinking of porting them out, worst case i can always weld the bead back in. The inside diameter of the pipes looks ok, its just having such a sharp decrease in diameter just outside the port seems wrong to me....

i have these on my car with n1 cams and on my dyno sheet it pulls all the way up to the redline. no dip in power all the way to 8k. and its still running rich. only thing i thoguht about was doing some sort of a merge collector where the cast iron piece is at. also haveing a heat shield on the header looks really stockish witch is pretty cool.

this is the manifold im going to be using with my p12 20v cylinder head

its a full custom steam pipe manifold
ive made it a twin scroll manifold because my exhaust housing is a divided .78
runners 1 and 4 are divided from 2 and 3

in the making

this is wat it looks like finished

ive had it hpc coated just neva got around to taking any photos of it yet

im in australia

most people use stainless for there manifolds but alot of fabricators here in australia stay away from stainless when it comes to manifolds because they tend to crack alot more eazy compared to steam pipe

here is a picture of my old manifold
the reason im no longer using this one is because i changed the exhaust housing
this manifold was made to suit a .63 exhaust housing

ill post up some pictures of the custom 20v plenum once work has started on it
cant wait till the car is finished and running

i coat all my steam pipe manifolds along with the exhaust housing stops it from rusting up as well as keeping the heat inside the manifold
