Because that, coupled with the throttle response could have made all the difference.

I'm also getting the feeling from other posters that the intake manifold you used with the N1 TB isn't similar to the ITB setup so there might be room to grow there. Do you have pictures for us who haven't been following your build?

I have no idea how you missed this, and the ITBs do not have more area under the curve

Thanks for the link Dre.

(I tend to stay out of a lot of VE build threads for various reasons. A thread title like "New Dyno test! sr20ve" does not garner my interest. I know it seems like I'm everywhere all at once, but I am selective in which threads I visit, read, and reply to.)

After seeing the dynos it is clear that you're right Dre. The ported N1 manifold and TB dyno shows much more usable power and area under the curve. This makes the OP's results that much more intriguing.

Exactly. That is my point. I was saying that my car showed me how big a factor the weather can be. So obviously since his days were not back to back the weather was diff and this could be to blame for a bit of the loss in time....... I do understand that one second is huge though. He deff needs to fix that switch over..

I responded earlier this morning, with not much time, but it seems that we are all on the same page (cory and dre). I responded with the driving style, I assumed the weather conditions would not even have to be mentioned with someone who is into racing as I thought everyone knew that that is in motorsports.

Agreed I think its getting used to the new power curve.

Like other have said, the biggest factor is the different days and conditions. However, the ITB has the throttle response, transitional acceleration, mid range power advantage. All important for mid corner and corner exit speed.

In order to take advantage of the N1 manifold power curve, you would probably need go toward a shorter gear ratio.

Also true.... Was wondering what gear box you were using to the op?

agreed with this comment.

People see miko's power under the curve write up.

7200-----192----------193 = -1 WHP
7300-----194----------191 = +4 WHP
7400-----195----------189 = +6 WHP
7500-----196----------186 = +10 WHP
7600-----195----------184 = +11 WHP
7700-----196----------182 = +14 WHP
7800-----196----------179 + 17 WHP
7900-----196----------177 + 19 WHP
8000-----196----------174 + 22 WHP
8100-----197----------171 + 26 WHP

looks great on paper with his 26 est hp at 8100. But the figures start at 7200. The itb's throttle response and transitional acceleration can easily make up for the last 900rpm.
