Greddy MSS question.
Hey guys.

Just to introduce myself, i Nate. Just moved from south florida to Pheonix, AZ. I purchased Ken Salos's VVL B13 about a month ago. (not sure what he posts as on here but he lives in St. Petersburg (Tampa).

Im a big nissan guy, and a small 4g63 guy, having slews of det s13 and 14's and a Z32, as well as a few dsm's. Im also an automotive technician by trade as well.

So to my question.

Ive been having my a few issues with my vvl choosing when it wants to activate or not, and some times only the exhaust coming on full, or weak..etc. Sucks, but im looking it all over to see what the issues are. So wile looking through the MSS i noticed that with the key on (engine running or not) when its sitting at the tach display, and you hit select once, it jumps over to k/mh. Then if you do it again, it jumps to a set of three numbers (like the tach). Ive seen them read anywhere from the low 120's to the 190's. Im not sure what they are or mean. I can also watch the number count down slowly wither its running or not.

Anyone know what this is?

Could be coolant temp. I know they have alot of other features for when to activate the cams, ie. tps above certain percent, water temp over a certain amount, etc. Check the Greddy website for instructions, I can't remember if they have it in english or not. Also, on this or the other forum, there is a thread with instructions by Ninety-9 SE-L

Sounds good. Ive been waiting to re configure it, and go through all the wiring wile im at it. My intake solenoid is crapped out, oil is making its way into the connector, so thats going to need replacing too. It still works though, i read that you can find the exhaust solenoid here in the states, what about the intake?
