I Need Help
Last Nite I Overrev My Engine And I Broke 5 Rocker Arm In Half And The Timing Chain Broke To. Now My Question Is How Easy Is To Swap A Sr2ove Into My 97 200sx Se-r. I Dont Have That Much Money I Just Want To Get It To Run For Now To I Get More Money And Do The Ecu Program For It And Want Do I Need For It

It pretty much a drop in, and hmm maybe sum rewiring for the Distributor if your planning use the VE one or if your going use the DE then just cut off the bottom leg.

I called JWT and they told me that the CEL is always going to be on and i cannt use my stock ecu for to long because i could mess up the engine. what i wanted to do is put the ve in and drive it for a little bit as my DD till I get some more money than get the ecu programed from them and i also live in NJ and i want to be able to pass inspection

Yeah man, just buy the VE, use your old DE injectors, ECU, MAF and drive it normally.
Later on, you get an ECU programmed for VE, put back the VE injectors and wire a switch to activate the high cams, etc.

What do they do for inspection in NJ? The VE does not have an EGR system, so you need to leave the EGR solenoid attached to the wiring harness. The EGR temperature sensor must be replaced with a resistor (JWT says 68K ohms). In Atlanta, they hook up their system to the OBD-II port and look for codes. If you do the above, you should not get any from the EGR system. My car passed on Monday, but I do have the JWT Ecu.
