uht oh spegetti-O
so ya my gf's been drivin her ve g20 around with the upper radiator hose off.. not sure how long its been like that an she doesnt know alot bout cars so guess its my fault for not noticing when i put oil in the other day..

some how the hose clamp came loose an im guessing the bad motor mounts let the engine rock back enough to pull the hose off..

the temps have been in the 90s lately an we're very lucky the engines ok.. i filled her up with fluid an drove it bout 20 miles an everything seems fine no water in oil an it runs the same...

these ve's are tuff little monsters..

Lucky that didn't happen here in Phoenix with our temps near 115 degrees & easily averaging above 105. Yesterday it was 112 and lots of cars were on the side of the road with cooling problems and tow trucks working overtime towing all kinds of vehicles old & new. Better fix those motor mounts ASAP before sonething else breaks down because they are bad. Yeah the VEs are tough ones but still made of aluminum and still need plenty of water to stay cool. Don't wanna warp one from bad or dislodged radiator or w/p hoses. Been there, not fun.

i did the 3m window weld mount....then spilled out the dought for prothanes...and its reallt just worth the prothens...i mean you gotta take the mounts off anyways to do them...might as well get prothenas...

the 3m window weld i used took 3days to dry ...and one year later i took them out, againt to put protanes in and the urethane was STILL wet/sticky-gooy inthe middles....

The hockey pucks are 100 times easier to install because they are two pieces and you dont have to squeeze the lip of the mount all the way through like the on piece mounts.
