Good Morning Guys and Girls...
I’m new to the SR20 Forums, I from South Africa and hoping you can assist me.
Can the SR16VE N1 cam’s be degree’d on a Stock SR20VE without slamming the Valves into the pistons?
And if so what is the maximum? I have just bought myself a set of SR16VE N1 cam's and cam gears from GSpec performance and according to all the information I have gathered the best setting is +2 intake and -5 Exhaust with the cheesy SSAC 2.5 header that I am using but I have also seen posts where degree’ing the SR16VE N1 cams in any way on a stock bottom end SR20VE will cause piston to valve contact.
I have searched and found a few threads with members stating that they have degree’d there SR16VE N1 cams on a SR20VE but I just want to make double sure so that I don’t destroy my motor.
Anyway thanks for putting up with the newbie
