you most certainly did not see a 230whp ve runna a 11.3 let alot a n/a nissan at that.

stratton.

haha yeah i know i personally never seen a ve over 205whp and i know a 230whp nissan ve should be at very lows or flat 11s. Is just that here in PR every racer on the track almost 100% Hondas think that they ONLY can do that but i cant discuss that because theres rightnow nobody with a Nissan ALLMOTOR running that low. But i know soon some VE's are going lower and lower in times everytime so i know somebody will reach that goal

n1 cam's sorry dont wanna start a drama here but i have discarted them, they are a great bang for the buck and a hell of a upgrade, but don't like the fact i would be another one of the bunch, also the proyect without agresive cam's would be meaningless.i see it as the brain of the engine are the cams and the cr and cc of the engine as the hearth.

Uh, he ran the 12.3 on N1s so they are not chopped liver either. Hey Stratton what cams were the two VEs running? I agree there is more left in Cory's tune to go even lower in the 1/4 mile. Angel, you'll probably get there in 2 years but by that time you may be one of many cracking 11s and from what Strat said one is there already. If it can be done on N1s from anyone else even better. That being said the 184C cams will probably be your best choice to reach your goal.

184c's are useless without big compression.

Also beware when buying used 184c's, there are 3 different grind generations each with different mods/revisions in spec.

Seems that they respond best with 12:1 & higher cr. What is the general impression of these cams in your country & would it even be worth it to use the latest generation 184Cs for a high hp build? What are the latest results on these and your personal thoughts? There are a few builders over here that may be interested in these if they haven't already installed them in their high cr motors. Trying not to go off topic, good info for the thread.

i think anything over 12:1 ve's love, 12:5:1 being optimal as its the highest compression you can run on pump.

both of those times were obtained with n1 cams. the 11.4 car is now running aft cams, but has yet to run to see the improvements.
