Took Baby to the Dyno again
Ok so i went to the dyno again, the only things that changed were hotshot header to ssac an replaced the stock cams with N1's.

Also i have spent some time road tuning to get in the 13.0-13.3 range..

Setup:
sr20ve
N1 cams (switching at 5200 for both)
SSAC ebay header
3" ebay intake pipe
3" velocity stack with k&n filter
2.5 mandrel bent w/ 18" magnaflow muffler an resonator
Stock DE MAF
nistune ecu
15* base timing on 92 octane (chevron to be exact)

I did make a few changes while we were on the dyno to dial in the a/f in a few spots.. also i bumped the timing up a tad and it lost power, bumped it down from the origional spot an it lost power so the timing map seems to be pretty good for now.. i think i still need to do some road tuning tho, problem is running 3rd gear to redline results in 90-95mph.. an i dont need any tickets lol.. wish i could of got more runs in but moneys tight..

oh i was going to datalog the sessions but the damn wideband didnt wanna co-operate with me lol..

ok theres a few factors here to play with that im not sure about.. first one being that my first run (which became free) the guy didnt have the dyno set right so it was showing me turning 11,000+ rpms, he adjusted it but still was showing like 9000++ rpms my tachs a liar and at 8300 on the tach im only actually at 7700rpm engine wise.. i've proven this time an time again while datalogging.. anyways.. the guy was stopping at 8300 on the tach but on the dyno it was showing 9000+ so something wasnt right..

Anyways he ended up switching it from rpm to speed and it seems a tad more accurate since at 8300ish in 3rd im doing 93-94mph (again proven through datalogging) so figure these runs ending in the 7700 rpm range..

Not sure if the guy could of played with the dyno settings more to get it dialed in better.. might of showed more power cause when he did that first run an it showed 11,000 rpm it only came up with 177hp / 135tq then when he adjusted it we started seein 184-185hp / 140-142tq SOO IDK??

i think its time for some intake work and MAYBE thermoblock spacers or something.. an maybe a better CAI..

ok enough jibber jabber heres the runs, now remember this is speed base not rpm..

best run of the day was 185hp / 142tq
last time was 172hp / 142tq

todays vs last time

todays runs

sorry for the crappy pics, had to take them with my friends iphone lol

Side note: there was no fan blowing on / towards the engine or car at all.. the guy came to the dyno shop just for my few runs so i couldnt really blame him much lol.. not sure if it would of made a diff anyways the cars temps were pretty stable an the runs were back to back minus a minute or two for slight changes

Would be nice if the guy knew what he was doing and that he gave you SAE numbers so you can compare with everyone else on a dyno.

go back and get the run file data on a usb drive then download the dynojet program. Then u can change the correction factors.

Please also show rpms on the x axis not speed...

thats the thing, the guy couldnt get the dyno rpms to match my actual rpms.. it was reading 1500+ rpms more then my Actual rpms.. on the tach it said 8300, nistune said 7700 the dyno was saying like 9000 - 9500 or something like that.. Plus it was showing my vvl kick it at like 6600 rpms an not 5200..

so he set it to speed instead to get an accurate comparison of the run from last time..

if i can get the run files i will put them to sae and try to get the rpm showing correctly.. if thats possible without re-dynoing..
