Thread: ve build!!

whats up guys..i have a nx under the works right now..i wanted to get some input from you guys on the set up i got planed..i got the 20ve in the machine shop now gettin work done on it

these are some parts am looking to put on as time goes by

N1 manifold kit
DUAL SPRING/TITANIUM RETAINER KIT
N1 cams
adjustable cam gears
and all the gaskets and rings that go along

i still havent decided what pistons to go with or anything else am missing..am still a noob but i been doing some reserch

i also got another noob questioin..i still got the trans from the stock nx but its popping out 5th gear..i want to know if its worth spending to rebuild and would it fit on the ve??...or just look for another trans..am looking foward to the input from you guys..thanks

Id suggest saving your money and skipping the N1 intake mani. Or you could use that money and put it toward a real good header. It will be money better spent.

maybe N1 pistons with 20V cams, cam gears, ASP 4-1, meth injection, hella timing!!

Some 87mm 12.5:1 pistons and a little nitrous in the mix would be nice.

i was looking to get custom headers made but am still looking for other ones..wat good one are out there
