Still on 16VE cams?

I'd switch them earlier, much better numbers have you ever done it to the dragstrip?

Ye, I am still on sr16ve cams. Why switch them earlier? Should i try 4200 intake and 4800 exhaust? I don't think this dyno was too accurate. I talked to a few people and they said they recently dynoed at other places and got higher numbers there.

Low lobes on the 16ve's are smaller since they're designed to a 1600cc engine, they tend to fall on power earlier than the SR20VE's so you need to engage em earlier. 4400 and 4700 seem to get good numbers tho

just because they got higher numbers elsewhere doesnt make those other dyno's accurate.

4900 was where the smoothest transfer was on the dyno.. think i picked up a few ponies earlier in the rpm range by lowering it down from 5200
