Data Scanning
Did some data logging of the car running with b14 ECU through the b15>b14 harness.

Results:

Codes -
P0100 - Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit
P1320 - Manufacturer Controlled Ignition System or Misfire
P0505 - Idle Air Control System
P0110 - Intake Air Temp Sensor 1 Cicuit

Data -
Engine Coolant Temp 138
Intake Air Temp -40
Spark Advance 15
Calculated Engine Load 43.1
DTC Set 4
Long Term FT Bank1 0%
Short Term FT Bank1 -25%
MAF 0 g/s
O2 sensor1 .86
O2 sensor2 .72

Put back the B15 ECU and B15 MAF
Intake Air Temp was recognized and numbers were normal
MAF was recognized and numbers were normal.

2 things:
MAF was not wired correctly
The B15>B14 adapter might not have been wired correctly for Air Intake Sensor

This is how my E60 MAF was wired:
MAF Harness
White to Green
Black to Black
Red to White

Red from harness to Red on TPS.
Yes, i followed Andreas Mikos' instructions but, My B15 harness has 5 wires instead of 4. It has Green, Black, White, Red and Red/Black wire.

So i am thinking of switching to a b14 wire harness cause then the IACV issue and the air intake sensor should be solved. If i keep the b15 harness i will need to make changes to adapter and have another adapter made so i can run B15 TB so i can connect the IACV.

What do you guys think?

I think maybe u should get sealti's harness he offered you earlier. Or contact mirrortints as he did this before. And has a adapter for the b15 thorttle body on a ve motor.

I sugested to go with the b14 harness that way it works with b14 ecu that is programed for the ve and all that is requiured is to rewire the iac this way there is no hastle trying to get the b15's electronic iac and egr system wire harness to work with the b14 ecu as the VE motor does not have these nor does the b14 lowport motor ! AS he stated obove the b15 to b14 wire adaptor is not done corect . I used a modis scanner to monitor the data stream and both the intake temp sensor and maf sensor do not register after we wired it up like we were told .Now as we put the old b15 maf and ecu back in no problems what so ever . The only codes triggerd was for the iac witch is not pluged in do to the b15 t/b not bolting to the ve manifold . Now if someone knows if sealt96's b15 sr16 wire harnes will work with the b14 ecu then i would go with that .And corect me if i'm wrong but mirrortints is using a greddy stand alone ?

Didnt he pick up my tb adapter to use that? If so, he wont have to worry about iacv/aacv.

I used to have a greddy piggyback, but got a haltech now.

He said something about getting that from rob96 but it was not available ?
Anyway he said he's is going to just use a b14 harness to try to make it simple and easy instead of trying to rewire to much stuff and spend more cash .

I wasn't able to get the B15 TB from Rob. Even if i get the tb adapter that won't solve the intake temp sensor issue.

If i run with the b14 harness will that interfere with NATS/NVIS (chipped key)? Or since i am using b14 ECU that won't matter?

Yea but aint the nats located in the BCM (body control modual) ? let me look into that on alldata to see about ......

nice who made the jumper harness?

You just wont need a chipped key to start the car, shouldnt cause any problems with starting to tho.

Fubar, the iat isnt required to run the car. But, you can run your stock one as its after the maf. Just plug it up.
