Come on guys, the VVL motors come out of Nissan Primera's, the 20V comes from the 2002+ Primera. The Xtrail had the QR25DE & SR20VET.




Check the knock sensor on the back of the motor to make sure it has not been overheated.

ahh i would love one of those in black ! put a nice suspension on it lower it and throw some bolt ons and .

i wonder how much it would be to import a lhd one .

LOL Im going To my country (hopefully)In the summer im def going to the dealer and see about these cars last time i was there the 02 Primera had just landed in the show rooms i hope i can find me a crashed one of em for some pickings

From the way the post was worded, I think he is asking how much a used used VVL should go for. Maybe he is buying a VVL that was in someones B13/14 and they took it out and went turbo or something and are selling their VVL. Am I wrong?

Not wrong at all but if i could find on for $1500 that would be great

What are the origins of these motors?
SR16VE - 1.6L VVL motor found in the Nissan Sunny Lucino VZ-R, Sunny GT and Pulsar VZ-R.
SR16VE N1 - 1.6L VVL motor found in the Nissan Pulsar VZ-R N1 and Pulsar VZ-R N1 SSS.
SR20VE - 2.0L VVL motor found in the Nissan Primera (Infiniti G20 bodystyle), Bluebird, Wingroad, and Autobacs Garaiya.
SR20VET - 2.0L turbocharged VVL motor found in the Nissan X-Trail SUV, and Trailrunner Concept Car.
