Talk to Dre (Andreas Miko). He will always charge a fair (not cheap, fair) price for one and you'll know to the absolute best of his (considerable) ability exactly what you're getting. The better it is (low miles etc.) the more you'll pay. Mine had 7500 miles on it; the plugs looked like they'd been fired once. Once you're his customer he'll bend over backwards to make sure you run and run right. He was ALWAYS there at the other end of the phone to help. It was perfect from the first tick. The man simply doesn't know how to be dishonest. It's an unfathomable concept to him.

a ve motor should go for around 1300-1400. it should be clean, check under the vc. other then that you cant really tell much by looking at a motor thats sitting on a pallet.
you can use your sr20 harness in your car with a few modifications. youll need a programed ecu, jwt or calum.
stratton.

you'd be able to see what the cams look like, if the oil has been changed regularly. other then that you really cant tell much till you got it in and running.
