^Most people just assume stuff to quick. They don't ask what the car is built for, or why did you get that mod over this one? I like what you are doing. That 2.3L is not hype anymore. It is the truth. It should be a lot of these running around in the next two years.

personally i don't expect much gains from this on the 2.0 i have currently maybe 5-10 whp up top. i am more interested in what it does for the 2.3. if i can fit it in the next few weeks i will dyno it but my local dyno is a heartbreaker it reads fairly low in comparison to most others. i do plan to hit the strip with this setup soon so we shall see.
Excessive isn't some no name company. take a look at all the ct guys manifolds they get most of there parts from them. the company also makes a lot of other products for other car makes/models. they mainly support the rwd Nissan community but they were willing to make FWD guys a manifold when i asked. if people want they can even make us a cast version for a good price if you can get enough people together.

Rocco, that big idle vaccum line is supposed to be connected to the intake pipe before the TB, not to the valve cover....

lol that was just setup that way so i could drive the car home with out the idle going all over the place. the place i do all my work at is 25 min away from my house. my intake pipe is having vacuum fittings welded on as we speak.

My fault, I missed the part about it being spec'd for 2.3. The runners looked too short for an n/a 2.0, that's why I was wondering about the dyno. Good luck with the build

So your testing it for them. Ok. Woudlnt you have to have some comparisons then. ?

the original intent of this post was not to make some kind of earth shattering numbers (that in reality don't mean jack to me) but more to say hey this company is out there actually willing to work with us.
now for the "Testing" its more of a test fitting since we have limited space for different style manifolds. when i originally contacted them about making me a manifold it was to see what could be done with in reason. they don't expect to get much business on the full FWD manifold due to the cost. i also expressed i was making the manifold with a big bore VE build in mind so no real emphasis was placed on getting stock dyno comparison done. Excessive is more than willing to make the customer what ever they want and now they have a good idea of what fits with no modification and what would need modding. We also discussed making a Velocity stack that bolts onto the bottom of the stock VE intake(or N1 bottom half) to get a decent length runner with out having to go full cut and weld for N/A or boost. this could be a very cost effective way for others to go since most of us wont spend 1k + on a manifold.

Yeah this one looks diff then the one posted a while back. I thought the runners were longer and they looked curved up, the cast aluminum runners. Is this a diff mani then the one posted a while back. Maybe ill see if I can find the thread so you kno the one I'm talking about

There you go Cory. Looks like that was his manifold but they changed design quite a bit. Shortened the runners a bunch, prolly to solve the firewall clearance issue. I would have found another way to solve the issue other than shortening the runners, but oh well.
