how much did you pay and why the hell are there so many welds on the runners?

Very nice bro. How long are the runners on it? I need to get my hands on one very soon. We'll have to 'test' one of these out and see how much more you pull on me by.

there like that to get the runner length and make it fit the FWD engine bay. mind you this is the First one they made so its been redesigned a few times.
runner length is 7" center line.
as for price expect to spend over 1k for this type with the Q45 tb plate, IAC plate and with the fuel rail.

couldnt they have machined down the flange to make it fit? Seems like that flange is really thick compared to other aftermarket intake minfolds. Might be the pictures but I'm not sure

So is there going to be any before and after dyno? I definately would not have gone with the q45 tb though

5speed is doing a intake manifold too, will be interesting to see the different lengths do for the TQ and HP. Last time we tested a short runner manifold it killed everything all over. The plenum was welded to the lower 2nd half of the stock intake manifold. Please keep us posted on your findings.

most likely wont be a before and after dyno since i don't have a before nor do i plan on dynoing this. i can tell you this this hauls some thing serious over the stock manifold over 6500 rpms on a band aid tune.i will fine street tune it to hold me over till i go 2.3lt. the q45 TB was a way cheeper option than the N1 TB and will work better with more displacement down the road.

I commend you for trying something new, but if I was spending over $1000 for an IM with a no name company, I would at least be doing a before and after dyno for myself. You said you were testing the product for them right? You are just testing fitment for them I guess
