photos from my old broken motor (requested)
well i thought that the piston was ok.. maybe dented or something but i was really wrong.. see for yourself.

looks pretty nasty huh
i was thinking in doing a 90mm darton block.. but i cant.. i wanna see why?..

but ^^^^ didnt worry me until i saw this..

a friend of mine has fu** up two cranks because his motor came with that little thingy broken.. im not sure what it does, something with lubrication.

at this time.. i havent seen the head.. i was very impressed when i didnt saw the #1 piston in the cilinder.. when i saw the CC.. i dont have words to describe how i feeled.. not worried because i already have a nice motor in my B13..well see for yourself..

closer look

and the explosion was so big that the head struts were loose. i already knew that the EX valves were broken..

well.. i learned one thing yerterday.. that the Ex valves from a VE head are smaller than the IN valves.

i have seen a ve head with every cc looking like the 1 you have it was awfulll

I think you need to learn a thing or 2 before you put another motor in the car isnt this like the 2nd or 3rd motor you blew the hell up?

thats the first VE. i broke this motor because i missed 2nd gear nd didnt have a rev limiter.. i already sold the broken head, cratched crank and broken oil pump, with that money im gonna order a MSD 6AL 2 for rev limiter and tune my ECU and Apex AFC because im runnig rich.

i didnt noticed that the back mount of the motor broke nd there is the shifter stabilizer. thats the reason why this motor broke.. nd the beating.. but this isnt a daily driven car.. is just for fun.

looks exactly like how mine did. Same thing, exhaust valves contacted on just one cylinder just like yours. Same carnage. However my block was still salvagable as its the same block im currently using and used for a year already.

I did the same thing you did, didnt have a rev limiter and missed 2nd gear reved it to who knows what.
