I'm also curious about this... if you try and go 93mm are you going to oring the block or do you think the mazworx gasket will actually be big enough?

What about QR25DE pistons? I think they are 89mm. Should be 2.2L then?

89mm is a 2.1 put there are other things to check into like pin height and pin width
