Thread: Ve header

Anyone has a top speed header on their Ve that can give me some feedback?

They are the same as the ssac header.At this point they are worth the bolt-on for the price

Ssac isn't a bad thing.. Deff better then stock by a mile

^^^^^^agree 100% get the header unless you can afford the custom headers that are available. They are good for 200 whp proven, maybe more

The Top Speed is a totally different design than the SSAC. Based on dyno testing, it seems to give good mid-range on the DE but not so much up top. Based on this I would not recommend a Top Speed for a VE which is going have bigger cams up top and a lot more potential than the DE. I've got a Top Speed sitting in the basement if anyone wants some measurements off it.

Yea, I had a topspeed on my N/A briefly and in managed to make just a little more peak torque than my Gen 5 hotshot, BUT it really fell on it's face past about 5800, while the hotshot kept rolling up on the HP up to 6800 or so. Put the hotshot back on.
