I saw that thread in the Florida section I think.... I wouldn't worry about him, he can't even write a sentence. I have personally installed 2 sets that have had no issues, one in a turbo car that revved out to 8500 all the time. As was stated before.... and I know that you know this, the N1 springs have less spring pressure than the regular 16/20ve springs. LOL some people just know everything. He sounds like a special ed student in middle school.

Kenniel's old 200SX that Matt now owns has N1 cams on stock valve train. That car has been that way for a good while now. No issues at all.

this will not work, clay the motor and youll see the valves make severe contact with pistons. noobs.

I have been running n1 cams with stock springs and retainers to 9k two years just about. Ive had a few over revs above 9k too, just no more than 10k.

Again, good thread Dre.

I am seriously comtemplating getting N1 cams for my VET and I want to see how these things react to 9-9500rpm. I've been debating it for almost a year now lol.

So many people using the N1 and revving really high, so what is the point of getting springs with those cams? Shouldn't valve springs only really be necessary if you are running stock 20ve cams? Perhaps 20V cams?

I await everyones feedback on this subject. So many people have done it for years with no ill effects, so why all the controversy now?

I would do spring and retainers on a turbo car just to be safe. You have seen my pistons and I still have springs and retainers going in.

Ditto. Jeremy I don't remember what pistons you have in your motor, but the ve valve reliefs are not in the same location as the de. But I'm sure you know that by now
