that's odd - I have a white screw on mine that was downright fubar'd when I bought the engine. I thought all IACV's looked like mine. The number on mine is 237815j210 acff0055. Wish I had a picture right now. And comparing to the one in the photo, mine has two wires coming off the ficd portion (purple plug in photo above) between the plug and the ficd valve. Weird.

well someone sold you the a VE motor with the wrong thing or they tinkered with the motor to get it sold.

If you need a good one I got them for $80. Put the right thing there

Does anyone have the nissan FAST system and can look up that part number for me? I'd like to know what the iacv is from/for!

GregV to the rescue - Apparantly nissan hired two companies to manufacture the part. the 5J210 and the 5J200 are both VE proper. The 5J210 is a few dollars more, so that's why GregV only sells the 5J200.

So there you go. It's a proper VE iacv, just an inferior one to the black screw version.

i sold him the motor and i used it in my b15. I never touched the iacv. i never had it connected. I bought my motor/install from Fastnx, the only issue i had was when i did a morning start i would have to hold the gas down and bit and then she idled all day long no issue. I used the b15 iacv and thats inthe throttle body.

cheers

I just got a quote back from a fellow member! Looks like we can do them for $48 shipped to your door. Even though we have determined that they aren't necessary, again because DE iacv's are cheaper and plentiful, I'm making myself one just for a 'just in case' type measure. If anyone else would want one based on the new price ($20 cheaper, thanks jp314!!!)

Again, comes with all mounting hardware (bolts, gaskets, washers, hose adaptors, and aluminum mounting peice)
