VVL activation....?
how is the best way to activate the vvl? Individualy at diferent points or at the same time? With RPM swich or is better if the ECU controls it? It's a good option using a Apexi Neo for opening cams if Im using DE ECU? I'm just looking for the ponies here and a good power band.

I think 2 switches give you a much smoother result and you'll pick up power along the way. Case in point - my 2 VE cars.

One switch point:
Notice that we picked up about 10 hp & 10 tq at 5200 and were better by almost 25 hp and 20 tq at 5600. We did this by lowering the crossover. We traded a few hp at the top end. And the car drove incredibly smoother, but still had a solid hit at switch. We could have moved the point lower and picked up a little more, but Kimme dd's this car and when she keeps it on the low cam she gets close to 30 mpg.

Two switch points:
3 runs from a tuning session with RJ. With 2 switch points we were able to get an extremely even curve. There is no way to do that when the cams switch together. This car just keeps pulling through the crossover, no big jump:

correct me if im wrong but it also looks like you were runnin your cams at 5/5 the first run an 0/0 in the second graph..

good to know tho, since i will have my cams from greg tomorrow or the next day .. might have to pick up another summit switch heh

No, those are 2 different cars. My old NX with the single switch is now Kimme's dd. My Classic has the dual switches. And a bunch of other toys to make it more fun.

I run a single switch and my switchover happens to be pretty smooth. It looks similar to Joes Sentra.
