@Jimithin7000 - Go big bore. You have to many nice parts not to. You will be kicking yourself later. Build it right if it's not the daily. Those gears are going to come fast with the tranny you have with a big bore build. Not sure how you would like driving it on the interstate either lol. RPM's sitting way high! This is why I put together a reliable fully bolted DE build to focus on a N/A VE monster and my other trick.
It isn't the daily and I feel like you are right... You now have me teetering on the edge of spending even more money on a big bore project. I am not really worried about the highway man I personally would love a tranny that tops out at 130 but gets there with street bike like acceleration. I have no real reason to do anything above 130 and would rather annihilate **** down low.
I will go really think about going big bore is Jamie helps me out. I know what I am doing in theory. I have taken apart SR20 Blocks in the past as well as a few Chevy 350's and they all ran fine afterwards. The part I need help with is making it all happen IE: telling me what parts I need to go big bore. Can I use regular aftermarket rods or do custom ones have to be made? Either way it looks like I may do it. I am not really concerned with money but what does one of these normally cost?
