All these aspects make you think well if i sell all this and do this but i just cant do it though. I refrain. Im a boost junkie at heart and always have been. hahaha

I agree with you 100%

NA is for a specific breed of people. My thing is investing so much money for a mid to upper 200 WHP car is just nuts when for the same amount of money I can build a 500+ WHP monster. After ridding in my boys VE-T Classic a few weeks ago my mind is made up. I am going to finish my boost build for sure

I will say it is finally nice to see some dudes spending some coin on some quality builds. Big ups to all of you.

Neck snapping boost is nice Rob but nothing beats a monster NA car. I honestly have more fun in my VE than I do in my turbo B14.

I want to see one of these builds hit the 300 mark If not somewhere real close. I think the make or break point will be in the head/cam combo. The head on my build cost more than my car itself

I will be making the same moves soon. I have a feeling the ride out West will be worst than the Georgia trip

^ you build a street motor that hits the 300whp mark and runs on 93 octane. i will drive to ct and hand you enough money to replicate that.

i kid you not.

stratton.

Sounds like a plan sir

Re-spect's bottom end will be the one to replicate. His a lighter than mine.

More than likely we will get both motors in and dyno at the same time. We should know in a few weeks.

When my car was NA I was just over 200 whp and trust me bro I had a blast with it considering how simple the set up was. **** I never got to try out N1 cams. I was doing my thing with SR16 cams. I beat that set up like none of my other set ups but, after coming from a boost set up I could not get use to it. Just not enough. Going from a 400 whp car to a 200 whp was killing me.

Now big bore builds like yours and RE-spects are killer. Props to you dudes. I will chill in the bushes and watch your progress. Hell, who knows maybe after I finish this boost build I will start a NA build on the side if I get tired of breaking gearboxes

Lol I hear you bro. Get that build of yours done, I been patiently waiting to see it done. I know it will be a street sweeper When the time is right grab another shell and do up something NA.

Goodluck with those tranny's. I took my turbo car out for the first time since August last night and shattered 4th in my P11 trans. You beter start collecting them from now lol

LMAO! I have about 11 gearboxes under my belt so I know the feeling quite to well.

Sucks about the gearbox. I have one minty fresh B13 box and two stacks chillin on the side lines. So I should be good. When those go then I will see what else is out there.

My project is coming along nice and slow. She will turn some heads when she is all done up. I figure I have atleast another year or so before I finish but, it will be worth it. Now that I am in Ohio if they bring the convention to the Northeast for 2011 I will be the for sure with my car.

yeah thats about all us big turbo guys can do for now. The p11 boxes especially with twin disk clutches dont hold up much better than the b13/b14 boxes do. Our only next option is to just 6 speed swap it and hope for the best.

But for now i got a 20k mile 99 p11 gearstack in my b13 box for now and its held up good with the heavy gear oil in there even with the shock from the twin disk. If this one breaks i can easily pick up another gearstack for $150 or less. But if you shift right and rev match even when quick shifting they still tend to hold up. Ive noticed when ive burned the tires and not gone anywhere then quick shifted to the next gear is when ive broken my trannies. I know why that is too.

But yeah i went from turbo to VE and VE was fun but just wasnt the same as having a turbo car.
