ok so i dont know if its cause the weathers gettin warm again, or if it has something to do with switchin the ecu from a calum basic to a nistune.. but my gauge was actually workin today..

also i was foolin around with nistune a bit also, an here in the background you can see the temp..

did a little conversion from C to F

97 ºC = 206.6 ºF

87 ºC = 188.6 ºF

my fan was commin on today too..

so anyway, my cars gettin up to temp, or atleast it is now..

danny you might wanna try hookin it up to a laptop an checking the Actual temp the ecu see's..

... i dont have anyhting like what u got lynch..

i found recently that i had a very sneaky leak coming from water hose that goes from throttlebody to under intake manifold.... the long hose seemed to have a pin size hole. soo need to fix that and that could be the air in the system that im gettin.. god knows.
the leak was so sneaky even with pressure tester it didnt find it.. i had to feel for it in the middle of the night sticking my hand under intake manifold feeling it up. and squeezing a bit.

so you had been noticing coolant on the ground or? w

what made you look for the leak?

i think if you get a plms cable an use nissan datascan you would be able to check the temps as well as many other things..

IMO.... the thermostat maintains the temp, period. at least as this problem goes....If its cooling after it warms up and you go, the thermostat is not closing down to keep the temps even. Call it a regulator. I have a koyo also, and not have had a cooling/heating problem from day one. Filled, bled it as per FSM and away I go. Have autometer gages, temps run @190 or so. Thats my story, and I'm sticking to it.....

check to coolant temp sender, the one that sends(small one) the signal to the cluster
