Thread: NGK V Power Plugs in SR20ve?

Someone recommended the NGK V power plugs to me. But I was told be a mechanic that it will not work well with Nissan as they dont come with resistor.

My heat range is 7.

Any advice?

I normally use Platinum or Iridium 7.

Just trying to get a cheaper type/brand.

You should have a resistor, yes. It looks like the NGK V-power does have a resistor built in so it should be fine. However I would recommend the NGK GP Platinum plugs. They are a much better plug and only $0.16 more expensive. Although I'm having a hard time finding them in your heat range. I could have sworn they made them as recently as 6 months ago. Something strange is going on.

I use NGK Iridium 7 (EIX), works well

I use normal NGK 7 too

Why the use of sevens? I thought the ve takes the sixes? Cause of your mods u need sevens?
