Great results Shig, looking pretty good. Not bad for a baseline.

So assuming the header is one of the major determinants as to where the peak power is made, that isn't too bad, around 7.5k-8k for peak with the ssac.

yes i meant a custom header and a really good tune on the ecu. i would also like to see what a bigger maf would do to help. im still running the de maf myself and feel that going with a bigger one would help out a bit.
shig, do you have access to a dynojet research dyno? i would like to see your numbers on that since that is what a lot of us have used. im sure you will read a little higher on the dynojet research one too. i was making more power and torque than that with nearly the same setup minus the cam gears and crank pulley, so i think the dyno is a big factor, and im comparing my corrected to your non corrected numbers.

Ok cool, i figured thats what you meant.

I wonder about seeing the maf difference, it would be awesome if you could get another pull with one on there.

I'm still using stock DE tubing, I wonder how much that would help out to make that tubing a little bigger.

I'll be doing more dynoing on a Dynojet some day. My friend has one in his shop but it's down for the time being due to some computer glitchiness...

I'm definitely going to install my Max MAF and WAI and tweak timing and tuning etc.

i dont know if its the calum ecu or what but anywhere between 14-20 degrees timings makes the same power. and yes i am setting the timing right and it is locking in the timing as i set it. i played with my fuel alot and lowered the max power a bit by richening it up but i gained a lot of midrange torque. i had to set the fuel pressure all the way up to 4 bar, i really thought i was running a 3 bar tune though.

I wish I was making 3k biweekly.....I'd have my dyno sheet up here too. So that was with ssac header? I guess I could see alittle better gains with a fuji? Its got a 3inch collector btw. Don't know if that's gonna help.

ebay has a cheap header thats better then the ssac an almost identical to the fuji.. dont know if the ports match up.. i bought it for my old de an it bolted str8 on.. the secondary bolts up the cat . all i can say is where to the 2 goes into the cat ... cut that pipe off an remove the cat an add 2.75 or 2.5 piping youll see some noticible difference.. heres the pic of the header... also the secondary flange on ssac is not str8 its angle, this one im showing has the flange str8 here two pics to show you what im talking about.
again you might have to dremel the ports out but thats easy as fuk.
bottom is ssac design.. notice the flange angled an the secondarys lookin mighty pacesetter-ISH

this one on bottom is the other ebay header in which i believe it alot better an close to fuji design..

also hangs as low as a fuji too.. which sorta sucks. but... yea ssac header is bascially a pacesetter thats nice looking.

get creative ... cut the secondary where the flex pipe starts an put a 2.5 an put 2.5 cat for you poor emission basterds.
btw the headers on ebay for $50 plus 40$ shipping.. total is 90$. comeon.

dont be gay. lose the ssac. quick.

sellthe ssac for 100 bucks. get your money back. an smile.

I don't know if that second one with the super long secondary prior to merge is better or not. I haven't seen any dyno data to sway me in that direction.

The primaries on that second one seem smaller as well...

my header has the long secondary, low end it added about 12 lbs. of tourque, but high end it chokes the car out a little bit, I have my old dyno sheet from tthe previous owner(matt20v), but more work has been done since this dyno run.
