And does this impede flow rates? (I guess as long as the bends are smooth, it will not?)

Other people have been running headers like this for ever. I showed Supercowboy an example of a Honda header and asked if he would be willing to try and make of for within the specs I requested. And he did it perfectly. It really should not hurt flow. Even the traditional style has atleast 180degrees of bend per runner. This header doesn't have much more...

I'm really not worried about the bends. This style is very simmilar to stefans k24 race header. But his is upside down and exits out the hood. Anyways his helped get him to 380whp. No idea on specs but obviously the bends arnt hurting..

Oh I didn't know you had a reverse cone on this header, I just went back to the supercowboy thread and looked. That's awesome news! Was that the longest you could fit? I am definetly going to have to talk with supercowboy about another one then. This budget header has got to go, especially when the 92 goes in.

from the loks of the header your running a side exhaust?? (to the side f the bumper)

Not a side exit, just points to the ground by the corner of the oil pan..

Here is another piece I came up with to test a different size chokes out and actually see what works best with my motor. Its not pretty but that wasn't the point. Its just for testing.

Did you get your car back together and get to do some testing yet and make it out to the event?

Yeah got it back together. Everything seems good now.

I didn't go to the event. There was 110 heat index with humidity in the 80s so I didn't bother. I should be testing the exhaust and a new intake set up with in a week or two.
