Personally don't need the props/respect to meet my standards of a well built ride and mine are pretty high. On the opposite end there is a desire of a lot of members to share and connect with others on breaking new ground, showing their rides in new or current builds and gaining the approval of a job well done. Very well said. It usually takes car guys a very very long time to figure out that when they build their cars for them that is when it is most satisfying.
I use to share a lot about my car back in the days because I enjoyed feedback from others. Now I keep things under wraps and to tell you the truth I enjoy it more that way. I know what I want out of my car and what I am going to do with it. I share with very few people what my plans are with my Classic. Everything this time around is what I want. Not what others think.
Now I do enjoy posting and sharing a few things but, certain things I keep to myself. The forums are very different these days. Eveything that is done is challenged and over thought by a lot of people.
To the OP. Stick to your guns and do you when it comes to your P11. It is a great looking car and it seems like you are in the right direction with it.
