Or maybe 180+ lbs of trq can really push a sr16 4th year imo.

If you do the math and sort out the gear ratios you'll see that when reving as high as we do it makes the mph in 4th very high.

Well, ill stick with my opinion and I forgot not everyone likes to shift wo taking the gas off so that could be a sing. For me, before crosing, a quick shifg will give you a push but lets wait till sunday and you tell me. ;-).

^^^^ He needs SR16 transmission with 22in tires so he can pass the 1/4 mile very high in 4th gear that how we do it here jejejejejej But he will need a better driver too to shift those gears without lifting the gas pedal jejjejejejej And bring those 60ft down to 1.6 like Hondas do arround here too....

I hope you don't mind me asking but if you'd like to keep it under wraps, its cool. I was just wondering in what ballpark area did you spend to get the block and head done up? I couldn't shake the thought of this build from my head and I really am thinking of doing it.

A SR16VE gear box will not pass high in forth gear with 22 in slicks as a matter of fact it will do 113 MPH at 7500 RPMs

22 in slicks at 8500 RPMs

1. 3.333 = 38 MPH
2. 1.955 = 64 MPH
3. 1.333 = 94 MPH
4. 0.975 = 128 MPH
5. 0.756 = 166 MPH

A 22in slicks actual dia is 22.4 inches so it would even be higher than the MPH I posted.

Now if you guys are running 106-07 MPH times with your VEs and you have a SR16VE gear box with 22in slicks you will be going through the traps at 7000 RPMs in 4th gear.
