But I wanna see what mph I can manage. I kno I can keep up with my buddys evo and he makes almost 400whp, his car should b in the 117-118 range.

Cory 3-4 MPH of that is from the AWD launch

which put it back at 114-115 MPH

Wow impressive as hell. Awesome work. I am really thinking of ditching nitrous and going big bore now. Damn it.

Manley Rods are $325.

That means Big bore with 100 shot NOS no problem.

Go get em

That is true, we'll see how the stock VE handles it. If it goes, big bore would be nice.

You plan on spraying this motor Cory? 300+whp with ease!

These are the kind of numbers that motivates new builds to push the envelope. Good job Cory. Pump gas & N1s FTW. Wow. And this build isn't fully tuned yet. Cory really shouldn't spray it for now, if ever. Us NA junkies want to see how much more he can squeeze all motor before he decides on something else.

wow!!! nice numbers man, I am really really happy it all worked out this good. how are those second gear rolls now, i bet it lights them up. I will be looking out for the track times or speed , good luck, I guess no more redline launches needed.

Stock rods held up to 125 WHP launches on DE motors, back in the day I would do consistant 1.71 60 ft times.

I would not do that on a VE motor because of 2 reasons

1. VEs cost alot of money
2. VEs make on average 30-40 more WHP than a DE motor

some $325 rods for peace of mind

The car is pretty dialed in although I did not touch the cam gears. There still set up for a lot of overlap..

And I do have a complete wet kit sitting here in the garage in case I feel like going really fast and getting kicked off the track haha. But for now I've got my goals set and don't plan on spraying until I meet them.

And not to talk **** or start anything, don't get me wrong but what's wrong with juns set up? 15:1 cr, race gas, 184cs and all that craziness
