Yeah that's how I run it at the track/dyno.

The intake is 4in into lightning maf, then 3.5in into the q45 throttle body. If time allows ill test it vs straight 4in, straight 3.5 and 3...

All this while I thought we cant run a "no filter ram intake" if you're running a MAF because of turbulence can cause error on MAF readings...

I guess im wrong

i really want to run a ram air without a filter

Lightning MAF is super sensitive.

Even on the Dyno I would have to block the fan from blowing on or near the filter.

I haven't tried the ram air set up with the lighting maf yet, I guess if its too sensitive ill have to scrap that...

Its always worked well before with my n60...

Yea the N60 was also fine for me too. The lightning wouldn't even hold idle with the fan near it on the dyno. Try it and let me know how it works.

Ok well good to know, we'll see what it does.

I really wanted to use the headlight since my exhaust dumps into the bay : (
