Jack Myers- he's been doing some big things on some big high profile hondas. I approached him and he was very cool, and excited to get into the NA nissans a little. He does some det manifolds aswell...

Any ideas on when everything will be assembled? Anxious to see how everything comes together!

Well unfortunately when I was finishing up the the intake manifold I messed up my hand pretty good, got an angle grider and cut my right hand down to the bone and cut into my tendon, took 10 stitches right over my index finger knuckle so ill be a little handicapped for a week or two. But I would think, I would hope and shoot for having it all together by the end of the month. All I have to do I rehone the block, and gap the new rings, also waiting on a new mazworx prw head gasket. But that's really quick small stuff. If everything goes right it'll be on the dyno mid april.

the header was just over 1k, send him and email and see what he says tell him I sent you. He only hav a det block for mock up and he doesn't have a shell so building a street header might be a challange without a shell.

No luckily I didn't sever it, just a deep cut and cut into it slightly. Worst part was its my right index finger kinda makes everything a pita, especially at work.

I pulled the pistons out just to take a look at the bearings and I wanted to re ring it. I was using the same rings from the 2.3 build. Also with the larger valves I wanted to get the pistons out and machine the reliefs a bit for clearence but it turns out I've still got room, so I didn't need to take the short block apart at all. But I'm glad it gave me a chance to check it all out, and new rings and a hone will be nice..

Thanks man, I really appreciate it, I'm curious what about my approach you mean. I think I just tried to keep it all as dumbed down and simple as possible lol.

Looks really good cory. You should have no problem reaching your goals with the changes your doing. I hope it all works out just the way you want it. Sucks to hear about your hand. Gotta be careful out there.

Keep up the good work.
