Nope I'm using a different head. The old head is just sitting here.

New head with 1mm oversize intake valves flow 295@.45 and just over 305@.5
The old head was just under 295@.5.

That along with the new header I'm throwing into mix should really get the top end where it should be. I had a guy on the west coast who primarily does honda headers take a look at my specs and we've been talking a bit. He's pretty confident were going to make a huge improvment over last seasons header...

Well they say for every 1cfm is equal to about 1hp so hopefully just with the picked up head flow you will see a pretty decent gain. That mixed with your new intake manifold setup and header. I dont see you having a problem breaking 300whp and hitting a high 10 on a good track. Keep it up man. Really looking forward to it. Your really raising the bar man.

I've always heard about 3whp for every 10cfm. But yeah either way its deff going in the right direction, hopefully I didn't loose enough velocity to hurt anything.

maybe, maybe not.

i wouldnt think so. with the revs and the size of your bottom end the velocity should still be way up there.

im surprised you didnt got itb, after all the the fastest ks are on itbs and after looking at what roccos stock 2.0 liter did. i may consider them after i see what my 2.1 does.

Actually the fastest k is running a plenum ; )

The reason I'm sticking to the manifold is because for one, the cost of the itbs but also I'm stull running a realtime and I didn't want to spend all that cash on a standalone and itbs... I'm sure I will down the road but for now I'm sticking w the stock ecu.

gotcha ! i didnt mean the fastest in the world, but generally the majority of fast k's are rocking itbs.

but makes sense, the cost of aem etc etc then add the tibs your looking at over 5grand in upgrades, so i see what your saying.

I thought jeremy was the fastest k and he's running itbs with a ram induction to it.

Norris from Prayoonto has the fastest street class k series and he runs ITB's with a pretty sick ram induction piece going from the front bumper up to the ITB's. Pretty sick setup. There are still just as fast k's on plenums but not near as many. Most run the kinsler ITB's

He needs something to upgrade to next year stratton lol.
That manifold looks like its off to a good start. Good luck with it.

What was the result of your search for curved runners? Wouldn't that easily give you that extra inch? I know you posted a website recently
