This f-ing disc blew too. I think maybe there's something wrong with the plate. I wanna run the exedy stage 1, or maybe the act hdss. I've read that act fixed the spring poping out issue with the discs.

Any info or sugestions?

That's crazy that you've busted so many clutches. =(
(I've had the B15 disc and JWT PP holding up to 237 WTQ for a while now with no issues.)

I wouldnt go with an act sprung disc, i just had mine pop a spring and it was only in the car for like 5-6 months. And mine had the fancy new yellow spings.

That's what I'm worried about. When i had my ve-t I ran those and kept blowing them apart, but I drove that thing like a mad man. I don't remotely drive like that anymore.

I'ma get the exedy setup.

Just pulled it and found out I have a xtreme pressure plate. No wonder I kept blowing discs. This one had only 1 spring bust loose.

great i broke another one.but i read up after i installed the last setup about the dowell pins. i'm pretty sure mone are missing or i only have one. so that's the real problem. so the new plan is the exedy plate and whatever disc i can come across.

any thoughts? i wish i knew about the pins before hand.

We spent more than year to come to desired clutch setup on high hp VEs. We've worked on it with Clutchnet company, and now we have a very best clutch setup ever. They have no this kit on their web site yet, but you can order this clutch by email directly to Oleg@Clutchnet.com . Ask for kit #21919NCUII, the price they offer is $370 for a kit.

SKU: 21919NCUII
1990 - 2002 Nissan SR20 FWD 2.0L Stage II Clutch Kit, Nissan Club Edition.

Nissan SR20 FWD Stage II Clutch Kit with Carbon-Organic spring hub disc, 50% over stock pressure plate (1650lbs) and bearing.

This unique kit was designed in cooperation with Nissan Club Ukraine racing team. It is strong enough to hold slightly to highly modified SR20 engines but offer feel-as-stock pedal feel. It is a way to go if your engine produces more than 170bhp or more than 150lb-ft*torque up to 300bhp and 250lb-ft torque. You must consider this upgrade if you plan to swap SR20VE or SR20DET engine in your car. It is great upgrade for those who plan to visit race days events or so, but feel as comfortable as stock at the road.
